HIGHLIGHTS Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel Grab your bikes at the Cape Point Nature Reserve and ride effortlessly among the local wildlife and beautiful landscapes to the cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Visit the Jackass penguins at Boulders Beach in Simon's Town Tour Details: Explore the wonders of the Peninsula on our Electric Bike Cape Peninsula tour - from the pristine white beaches, the penguin colony, breath-taking mountains, to the spectacular sight of Cape Point. This will be your easiest yet most rewarding bicycle ride as you don’t need to be fit to enjoy it ! Once you get to to your starting point in the Cape Point Nature Reserve and after a short safety briefing, you will start riding South to the Cape of Good Hope, a world-renowned landmark, and monuments in honour of two of the world's most famous explorers - Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias. On your way, observe over 250 species of birdlife, baboons, ostriches, bucks and the Cape Mountain Zebra. You will then head to Cape Point where you will get off your bike to get to the light-house, have some leasure time and eventually lunch at the local restaurant (lunch not included). Once you’ve made the most of Cape Point, you will ride your bike back North where you started and get back in the vehicle for the last attraction of the day. In option, visit the penguins in Boulders Beach in the charming coastal town of Simon’s Town. You will be able to observe them coming back from the ocean, basking on the beach or just resting in their nest from a non-intrusive platform above the floor so no penguin is bothered. Drive through the surf town of Muizenberg and the beautiful suburb of Constantia before your driver leads you to your hotel.

Coasteering is a brand new adventure activity that allows you to get up close and personal with the ocean! Pioneered in Wales and Scotland, Gravity is proud to be the first to offer this activity in South Africa. What makes it better is that it is right on our doorstep in Simonstown, close to Boulders Beach. Coasteering bears some resemblance to Canyoning or Kloofing but takes place along a protected coastline rather than in a river course. Each participant is equipped with wetsuit, PFD, helmet, and is accompanied by a guide. The aim is to explore the inter-tidal zone by snorkeling, swimming, and rock jumping. The crystal clear waters and protection from the South Easter make this the perfect location for all skill levels. An added bonus is the abundance of marine life and if you lucky you will come face to face with the African Penguin! Although there are a number of rock jumps up to 8-10m depending on the tide, none of these are compulsory so you won’t be pressured into something you don’t want to do. The minimum group size is 4, max is 16 (but we can do more than one group simultaneously), Group discounts are available. Once you have your dose of adrenalin, visit the Penguins at Boulders beach, head to Simonstown for Lunch, or carry on to Cape Point for a view of False Bay.

Join us on a single tank dive dive down into this magical and marvellous 3-dimensional ecosystem which harbours an incredible array of life, from the tiny and the intricate to the large playful Cape fur Seals and everything in between. This packages includes a single boat entry. The dive will focus on the Great African Sea Forest, stretching along the Cape Coast all the way through to Namibia, wrecks and artificial reef systems. The location will be decided based on the weather for the day. Why not upgrade to a double tank dive boat entry and maximise your time exploring this natural wonder. Become surrounded my huge schools of Strepie fish, explore the caves and swim through giant granite boulders and become mesmerised by the spectacle of the colourful nudibranchs. Your expert guide will show you this amazing underwater world in some of the most pristine kelp forests along the coast and point out critters to you which you would have otherwise missed. Whilst diving in the forests, there is also always the possibility of a cow shark interaction as they slowly glide through the strands of the kelp forest in its prehistoric form showing little to no interest in divers as it goes about its natural behaviour. Kelp is NOT a plant but a giant brown alga, but does photosynthesise like plants and so grows in relatively shallow coastal waters, therefore the majority of kelp diving is in waters no more than 12-15m in depth.
