Simon's Town:

Simon’s Town is a small coastal town situated on the false bay coast on the Cape Peninsula. It is the gateway to Cape Point Nature Reserve also known as the Cape of Good Hope, a UNESCO world heritage site, which forms part of the Cape Floral Kingdown. Simon’s Town is best known for Boulders beach, famous for its ancient granite boulders and endangered African Penguin Colony. This colony is, one of the only breeding colonies on the African mainland. Furthermore, Simon’s Town is a fantastic base from which to go shark cage diving and whale watching and exploring the rest of the Marine Big 5. Every year between June and November, the Southern Right Whale migrates from Antarctica to South Africa to breed and give birth to their young. The Great White Shark, one of the Apex predators of the ocean, can be seen breaching during the winter months

Simon’s Town is not only one of the oldest towns in South Africa, but also the oldest Naval town and was established as a winter anchorage point for the Ducth Navy. Today it is a bustling hub of cafes and boutique shops. It remains a firm favourite among locals and tourists alike. Please note the scooters are only available on Weekends. Rates are per scooter. Passangers are allowed at no additional cost. Scooters are available on weekends only Some trip suggestions include: - Ride down to the Cape of Good Hope and discover this UNESCO world heritage site. - Ride along one of the most scenic drives in the world - Chapmans Peak Drive and explore the village of Hout Bay - Discover the magic of the Cape Winelands and explore the many award winning wine estates on offer All scooters are suitable for 2 people and an additional helmet is available for extra riders at an additional cost of R75. This can be added from the checkout page. Scooter rentals are for either the Vespa 125 - 150 CC or the Yamaha 125. Clients can upgrade to the Vespa 300cc directly from the checkout page Passangers need to ensure they have a valid lisence
