Our 1 Hour quadbike rides are done on brand new Linhai Rustler 300 cc utility quadbikes. It is perfect for beginners and for families. We do not race on the quads, it is a safe, guided experience for persons who wants to experience the bush in an exciting way. The track goes onto gravel roads which goes all around the beautiful nature reserve of Silkaatsnek Nature Reserve. Kids ages 3 and older can join their parents. 2 Guests can be on one quad as long as their combined weight does not exceed 170 kg. Cost is R700 per person (driver) plus R400 per person riding with on the same bike. (Child or adult) (A cash deposit of R500 per person is required on the day, this is refunded in full on the day if the bikes are returned after the ride without damages) If you would like to book shared quadbikes, you need to book only 1 quadbike per driver and then at the checkout under EXTRA: add Person Sharing quadbike.

Tickets are valid the whole day PLEASE NOTE THE CABLE WAY IS CLOSED ON A MONDAY AND TUESDAY The fun doesn’t begin and end with the cable car ride itself. A trip to the top of the mountain will quickly turn into a day of enjoyment away from the pressures of city life. On top, you feel as if you are in another world, and there is plenty to enjoy in this small paradise. There is a self-service express restaurant at the top of the cableway where you can buy light meals to enjoy on the terrace or at one of the viewing decks. You may also want to sip on a cocktail at the bar while admiring the view from the terrace. If you have children, why not sit under the shade at one of the picnic tables and watch them play on the jungle gym in the Kidzone play area? You can do some shopping at the Little Shop at the Top, or just sit back and enjoy nature, taking in the tranquillity and the calls of the birds. You may well be lucky enough to see some endangered vultures circling overhead, from the nearby vulture sanctuary. To help visitors explore the mountain, the Harties Cableway has set out the 1km Dassie Loop walkway. Informative signs along the way explain points of interest that you can see from atop the mountain; on a clear day you can see the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, most of Brits and even some of Pretoria. Children under 4 go free and tickets can be colelcted from the ticket office
