Taking off from the V&A Waterfront, you’ll hover over the harbour for a moment, drinking in Green Point and the Cape Town cityscape. Below you, the deep blues and greens of the Atlantic Ocean stretch to the horizon, interrupted only by the white crest of a wave or the occasional pod of dolphins. As you move further away from the Cape Peninsula, Robben Island comes into view in front of you. You dip towards the island, sweeping over its diverse collection of fauna and flora as you enjoy an aerial view of the buildings and importantly, the prison where Nelson Mandela and other freedom fighters were imprisoned before you turn to face the Cape Peninsula again. On your return flight, you’ll be greeted by the full splendour of Table Mountain as you travel along the pristine Blouberg coastline back towards the City Bowl. Children are welcome and tours are costed per flight and can take a maximum of 6 people. Please select the number of people before booking. Important Notes. Safari & San Heritage Daytrip from Cape Town

An action packed and immersive experience on the West Coast, ideal for visitors to Cape Town that want to venture out. You will be picked up by private transfer from your hotel/home in the wider Cape Town region to immerse yourself in nature and culture alike. Your first stop will be a 3 hour safari experience on the West Coast Private Game reserve just outside Yzerfontein. Here you will jump on our 9 seater Safari Land Rover, and have a chance to see Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck, Hartebeest, Impala, Springbok, Ostrich and a range of smaller animals indigenous to our reserve. After your Safari, you will have a short (15 min) transfer to Khwa Ttu, where you will first enjoy a 3 course lunch (included in the price). After lunch you will have a choice of 2 of their guided tours at the heritage centre to learn more about the history and natural context of the San People of Southern Africa. After your tours you can have a wander around their beautiful museum before being transferred back to Cape Town in time for dinner. The below program is approximate and will amongst others depend on your pick-up location 7:00 am – Early pickup from your hotel to make your way towards Yzerfontein. Make sure you have had breakfast before you jump in. 8:30 – Arrive at the West Coast Padstal, where you will check in for your Safari and receive your welcome briefing from your guide. Also a good chance to stretch the legs and have a toilet stop. 9:00 am – Hop on the Safari Vehicle (sometimes shared with other safari enthusiasts), and drive to the entrance gate of the Game Reserve (5 min), from where the Safari will start. Enjoy a game drive on the reserve and learn more about West Coast Flora and Fauna from your guide. 10:30 am – A coffee/tea stop in the bush and a chance to stretch your legs, there will be some light snacks served as well 11:00 am – 12:00 pm – Continue your game drive as you start heading back towards the gate. 12:00 pm – Arrive back at the Padstal, say goodbye to your guide and head onwards to Khwa Ttu 12:30 pm – After a welcome drink, you will be brought to your table and have a scrumptious 3 course lunch at Khwa Ttu’s restaurant. 1:30 pm – Once you have finished your lunch you can pick 2 of the available guided tours at Khwa Ttu, covering different aspects of life and history and culture of the San People. each tour is approximately 45 minutes. 3:30 pm – Say your goodbyes to your San Hosts, and start heading back to Cape Town. 5:00 pm – arrive back at your hotel/home in time for Dinner
