A day tour which combines chimps and caving. Depart from your hotel at around 08h00 and drive to the Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden situated about 15kms outside Nelspruit. We arrive in time to join the tour which includes the feeding of the chimpanzees at 10h00. This is a unique opportunity to view chimpanzees in semi-wild surroundings. Visitors will be captivated by these primates who share 97% of mans’ DNA. With every visitor we take to the Sanctuary, we contribute to the rescue of another chimpanzee. The principle guardian of the Caves’ entrance was Sudwala, Somquba’s chief inDuna (councillor / captain), whose name is thus commemorated to this day, and whose spirit is legendarily said to linger in the Caves. Maholoholo meaning "the great one" offers travellers a time to unwind, relax and enjoy the beautiful lowveld region. You will take a boat cruise in the Blyde River Canyon that is 26 km long. The canyon is located in Mpumalanga South Africa. It is one of the larger canyons on earth but much smaller than those of Asia. Also known as the Green Canyon. As part of the tour, you will enjoy a half day of Tigerfish fishing on the Komati River and Eswatini close to the Mozambican border. These ferocious fish are found in two rivers in South Africa namely, The Komati and Pongola River.

Our luxury open safari vehicle will pick up guests from their accommodation in Hazyview at 5:00 a.m. (October to March) and at 5:30 a.m. (from April to September). We’ll proceed to the Phabeni entry gate to The Kruger National Park. You also have the option to be met at this gate. Enjoy a full day safari and tour of 10 hours as we go out in search of the park’s most magnificent animals, pride of the African savannah. We stop for breakfast and lunch – approximately 1 hour per stop. Meals are for the guests’ account, unless pre-arrangements have been made with us. Bottled water is supplied. Maximise your viewing with us as we endeavour to help you spot all the animals you’ve got on your sightings list. We’ll stop at picnic spots during the drive, giving you a chance to rejuvenate the senses for more to come. There’s also the chance to purchase curios and mementos at these rest stops. Look out for the famed Big 5, but we’ll also be on the hunt to spot other wildlife curiosities, like the cheetah and the African wild dog! After the drive, we exit the park. Guests will be dropped off at their accommodation or at Phabeni gate. We’ll leave you with the experience of a lifetime and bid farewell in the hope to meet again!

Our Panorama Day Tour includes visits to the Blyde River Canyon and other spectacular sights around the Blyde River Canyon.
