Our AfriCanyon river adventure starts with registration, getting your wetsuit, kit and a quick briefing at basecamp. We then transfer you to the river entry point, a short drive in our vehicle and within minutes you are on your way. A brilliant combination of fun and adventure in the great outdoors! Run the river with AfriCanyon, navigate through the river shallows, swim through natural tannin coloured fresh-water mountain pools, maneuver down water slides and abseil waterfalls as you dip down into the river gorge. Due to adverse weather conditions, bookings may have to be cancelled without warning. All bookings remain valid for 1 year from date of purchase should AfriCanyon / AfriAbseil for any reason need to cancel the booking. We will assist you in rescheduling your booking. The minimum age for the AFRIABSEIL is 10 years old. The Minimum age for AFRICANYON is 8 years old. Indemnity forms for all minors will need to be signed by the minors parents or legal guardians. In the event of cancellation of booking by the customer, the following rules shall apply 90% refund of booking for cancellation MORE than 30 days prior to booking. 50% refund of booking for cancellation MORE than 7 days prior to booking. 0% refund of booking for cancellation LESS than 7 days prior to booking. Customers with restrictive medical conditions and or on constant medications MUST advise their Africanyon Guide prior to entry into the Canyon. Customers that are pregnant cannot undertake either Afriabseil or africanyon activities. Detailed description of goods and/or services Africanyon is a business in the activity industry. Return and Refunds policy The provision of goods and services by Africanyon is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Africanyon will refund the client in full within 30 days.
