Embark on one of the most exhilarating Zipline`s in the world - but half the fun is getting to the "nest" our starting point 7 Km into the mountains. This 3.2 Km Zipline is the world's single longest.
Arrive at our base camp 20 minutes prior to your booking. Here our guides will assist you with our formal check-in procedure. After the formalities have been done you will be escorted to the Harness Deck where we will do the fitting and securing your harness.
A brief waiting time can occur for the vehicle or trailer to take you into the mountain and for convenience we have an onsite coffee facility.
Once the Vehicle and/or Trailer is ready you and the other guests will be called to embark.
Important to note the base-camp has the toilet facilities once your on your way into the mountain we do not have such facilities (due to the remoteness of the adventure)
The trail into the mountain is a very scenic but serious 4x4 road. the duration for this will be an estimated 55 minutes from base camp to the "nest" our departure platform in the mountain.
Once you arrive at the "nest" we will allocate guests into weight categories. This is done due to factors such as weather, wind etc in order for us to ensure you have a comfortable adventure.
Once your clipped in on the Cable be ready to reach possible speeds of 120Km/h depending on your weight and wind factors. The decent from the mountain will be the closes you will ever get to thinking man can fly. As you leave the "nest" you will be a few meters from the ground and by the time you reach your maximum speed you will be +- 200 meters from the ground and 1 Km from the "nest". The Trees and mountain will zoom by and as you reach the clearing over the fields past the mountain on your way to Base-Camp you will gradually start slowing down. The zipline has been designed to slow down as you reach the end. We do have an emergency breaking system also in place.
As you reach the Platform at base camp the receiving guide will assist you to unclip form the cable and you will make your way down the 12 meter staircase to the Harness deck to unharness.
For your friends and family not brave enough to participate we have a lovely deck with a small intimate coffee shop. We also offer conference facilities but must be booked prior to arrival.

The Zipline activity
- No person under 60 Kg will be allowed to participate. ( we will once operational for a month change the weight restrictions in Mid October 2024)
- No PREGNANT Ladies/Woman.
- No heart conditions or physical disability.
- No person over the 120kg weight limit.
- Weather conditions are unpredictable. (please bring your jacket and sunblock)
- Strong winds and sometimes rain, affects the optimal operation at the zipline.
- In these circumstances, the lead guide may decide to impose some weight restrictions or temporarily close the line.
- If you are so affected, we will attempt to reschedule your zip for later the same day or the next day, and if this is not suitable, we will issue you with a voucher valid for one year (excluding peak periods).
- These decisions are made for the safety and well-being of our clients.
- If for any reason you want to cancel the trip once it starts we unfortunately still have to charge and no refund
- We have a no-refund policy. We will provide you with a voucher (valid for one year, excluding peak periods) if you are unable to complete the activity due to inclement weather.
We require full payment prior to arrival - our booking system will generate an invoice for you to settle with in a few minutes of your booking. No Payment no Booking. Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking. If your late you unfortunately lose your time slot and no refunds. We will only cancel a booking in the event of safety concerns and will refund 100% - we do operate in all weather conditions! so weather is not a factor for cancellations unless we have thunder.. If your responsible for booking a group please ensure that all participants are aware of our Terms and Conditions as well all aspects of the adventure.

We would encourage you to bring drinking water as K3 only has a grey water system.
We are also totally off grid and also would prefer guests not to use any electricity for charging phones etc at our site.
The duration of the activity and all procedures are +- 2H30 Hours. Please do not be late as you will forfeit your booking and not be entitled to a refund.
