We will try to get to know South African wines. We will give ideas on how to enjoy your wines more like food and wine pairing, right temperature, glasses etc We will try, taste and enjoy it all! For a unique perspective on wine, experience the wine-making process from the wine cellar: We will explore the history of South African wine. We will look at different wine making styles. We will talk about viticulture and vinification. We will demonstrate the wine making process (oenology). We will explain the making of cape Port, Method Cap Classique / sparkling wine (Champagne), brandy etc. THE TASTING ROOM This is where the action happens: We will taste many South African wines, port styles, MCC’s (Champagne). We will learn more about how to taste and drink wines. We will talk about food and wine pairing and the influence of flavours. We will cover wine and health. We will identify whether and how to store wine We will cover a wide variety of wines and wine derivatives. Spitting is entirely optional!

1. Booking and Payment ● Deposit: A 100% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. ● Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfer, etc. ● Booking Confirmation: Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit and/or full payment and issuance of a confirmation email/voucher. 2. Cancellations and Refunds ● Cancellations by Customer: ○ Cancellations made more than 24 Hours days prior to the tour/activity date may receive a refund of 100 % of the total price. ○ Cancellations made less than one days prior to the tour/activity date will receive no refund. ○ No-shows will be charged the full price of the tour/activity. ● Cancellations by Company: ○ We reserve the right to cancel a tour/activity due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, insufficient bookings, etc.). If we cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule. 3. Changes and Modifications ● Itinerary Changes by Company: We reserve the right to make changes to the tour/activity itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements of similar value. ● Changes Requested by Customer: We will try to accommodate reasonable changes requested by you, subject to availability and any additional costs. 4. Insurance ● Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage, medical expenses, personal belongings, and emergency evacuation. 5. Liability ● Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that participating in tours/activities may involve inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur. ● Waiver of Liability: You agree to release and hold harmless African Story Tours, its employees, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising from your participation in the tour/activity. ● Company's Liability: Our liability is limited to the total price paid for the tour/activity. We shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. 6. Health & Safety ● Physical Fitness: You acknowledge that our tours/activities may require a certain level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit enough to participate. ● Medical Conditions: Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your participation. ● Compliance with Instructions: You agree to always follow the instructions of our guides and staff for your safety and the safety of others. 7. Photography & Filming ● Promotional Use: You grant us permission to use any photographs or videos taken during the tour/activity for promotional purposes, unless you express otherwise in writing. 8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction ● Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the South Africa governing Law. ● Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation, arbitration, or court. 9. Acceptance of Terms ● By booking a tour/activity with African Story Tours, you signify your agreement to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
