If you have made a booking, no last minute cancellations will be accepted whatsoever. Let us know please if you have an toddlers, serious back or neck injuries or ladies - pregnant - this is an ocean excursion, and you do it on own risk - WE PREFER NOT TO OPERATE WITH KIDS YOUNGER THAN 4 YEARS PLEASE - Adults are to take care and responsibility if they bring their children on this trip. The boat operator does not take responsibility for children whatsoever. Precaution for sea sickness must be taken. If you carry any electronic equipment with you example ipad, cellphones, cameras etc, you will do so at your own risk and the boat operator / owners shall not take responsibility for this. Please ensure that you are at the departure point 30 minutes prior to your whale watching experience as we need to prepare and brief you for the trip. No last minute arrivals will be welcomed as this delays the trip for the rest of the passengers and no refund will be paid out for last minute arrivals !!!!!!!! P.L.E.A.S.E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANCELLATION POLICY This agreement cannot be cancelled except by mutual agreement between Advantage Tours and the client/guest/lodge. Advantage Tours shall be at liberty in its discretion to charge a cancellation fee or any percentage thereof at: 1. 5% of the tariff – on all cancellations as an administration fee; 2. 10% of the tariff – within two weeks prior to the departure/tour date; 3. 20% of the tariff – within one week prior to the departure/tour date; 4. 100% of the tariff - within 24 hours prior to the departure/tour date.

Most tours are weather permitting and can be cancelled at the last minute by the skipper if he/she decides there is a safety factor at risk. If the operator cancels the tour due to unpleasant/unsafe weather conditions, you will be given a full refund. Most tours have a minimum number of passengers before it is viable to go out to sea, please ask about this in good time. Advantage Cruiser CC and its skippers, staff and guides will not accept any responsibility for any deaths, injury, or illness sustained or suffered by any person, or theft, loss or damage to any person or property whatsoever occurring within or from the use of the charterers vessels, vehicles or part thereof. A much more convenient departure especially for people with kids, and more elderly people, as it is a ‘smoother’ harbor departure, and not a high energy surf launch. For those people who LIVE in or around Richardsbay and want to be at the departure point themselves, it is at the TUZI GAZI WATERFRONT - directly in front of PORKY's RESTAURANT – For the guests that reside IN ST LUCIA TOWN and have to join our shuttle service bus taking you to Richardsbay, ( ST LUCIA – RICHARDSBAY 80km’s ) you have to meet at our WHALE OFFICE in St Lucia 1 FULL HOUR prior to the trip booked, as it is a ONE HOUR by-road shuttle to get to Richardsbay Harbor. Your shuttle service from ST LUCIA TOWN is INCLUDED in your ticket rate. PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER, on an ocean excursion, you might get wet, you might get seasick, so PLEASE take precautions , dress comfortably but warm , and always bring an extra set of dry clothes and w towel, packet of biscuits, and bottle of water. AND then the worst thing that can happen – is the weather turning bad from ONE MOMENT to THE NEXT, and our captain having to make the safety decision to cancel the tour – PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR MONEY is OUR INCOME, we D.O ( ! ) want to be on the ocean and earn that R$’s and satisfy your family’s experience, but we will NOT go out in dangerous seas, and although we know that you will be disappointed if we cancel, we are not in charge of nature, and please respect us to make the right decision. If WE cancel the trip due to bad weather OR a last minute engine issue, which we need time for to fix, we will give you a full refund – ANY electronic equipment you take on the ocean will be on your own risk.
