Join Surf Emporium Muizenberg for a personal surfing lesson tailored to your skill level. All ages are welcome. You can expect a private coach who will teach you the essentials of surfing and provide you with the knowledge to catch your first wave. You will learn about etiquette, safety and awareness of the ocean. Your coach will remain with you for the duration of your lesson. All lessons are 1.5 hours long and can be scheduled at a time convenient for you. You can book an individual private lesson or group private lesson for you and your friends or family. Just select the total number of people you require under number of adults. The price of your lesson reduces per person the more people you bring with you.
Please note, bookings are required more than 24 hours in advance. For last minute bookings, a surcharge of R35 per person applies. This needs to be added from the checkout page

All bookings are to be made more than 24 hours in advance. For last minute bookings, a R35 surcharge applies and needs to be added directly from the checkout page. We aim to do our best to accommodate you as close to your chosen time as possible. We will confirm your time slot as soon as the booking has been finalized
A 100% refund will be granted should Client / Operator cancel or amend the booking more than 48 hours from the time of bookings
No refund will be granted should Client / Operator cancel within 48 hours
No refund will be applicable should the Client / Operator fail to arrive on the date of the activity booked.
A full refund will be considered on merit, by management, in the event of illness / hospitalization / accident or death, upon receipt of proof.
A full refund will be granted to Clients / Operators should Surf Emporium Muizenberg s cancel any activity in the interest of safety. •No refund will be granted should the Client / Operator not complete the tour / miss the tour departure time.
