Enjoy a 3-hour walking excursion to interesting places in the surrounding wilderness areas. The walk itself is relaxed and the experienced, armed rangers use their knowledge of the bush to track animals such as rhino, elephant and lion and will explain to you the natural wonders and fascinating facts about the African bush. Comfortable walking shoes or boots and clothing applicable to the prevailing weather conditions are recommended. Please supply your own cameras and/or binoculars. A minimum of 4 pax is required. All enquiries will be placed on a provisional reservation list with Sanparks, pending further booking enquiries. We regret no children under 13 allowed.

Tour Price Exclusions: The tour price excludes Any tips and gratuities (left to the individual’s discretion); personal items (beverages, cigarettes, telephone calls, room service, laundry and other extras); air and rail fares (unless specified as part of a package); visas, health requirements, immigration requirements. VOMBA TOURS accepts no responsibility if such documentation is not in order – visitors should consult their travel agents. Child policy: Children of all ages are welcome on our scheduled day tours, with exception certain Safari Game Drives, where certain of the Game Reserves terms and conditions prohibit children. Bookings on our escorted overland tours are strictly subject to the availability of child-friendly accommodation at the time of the request. All children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by at least one adult for any day tour. Child Discounts: Children under 12 years qualify for a discount on certain tours when accompanied by two full paying adults, subject to confirmation during the booking. Children under 12 years, qualify for a discount for certain accommodation, provided they are accompanied by and share the same room with two full paying adults. Restrictions apply to certain tours and are subject to the terms and conditions of the accommodation vendor secured, subject to confirmation during the booking. Payment: Fifty percent (50%) of any tour is due and payable on booking the tour. Full & Final payment is due and payable 30 days before tour date departure. All cancellations shall only be valid if received by VOMBA TOURS in writing and shall be effective upon acknowledgment of receipt by the company. The date on which the cancellation request is received by the company relative to the date of the booked tour will determine the cancellation charge, if any, to be levied. Cancellation charges expressed as a percentage of the Total Tour Cost are as follows: Cancellations received within 60 days or the tour date: 25% forfeit fee Cancellations received within 30 days or the tour date: 50% forfeit fee Cancellations received within 15 days or the tour date: 75% forfeit fee Cancellations received within 10 days or the tour date: 100% forfeit fee Cancellation Forfeit Charge exceptions exist: Only for Inbound Air Flights, where the Aeroplane could not make terminal arrival due to unforeseen weather/circumstances. In this instance, the tour will be rescheduled and accommodated if possible by the company. In instances where the Airplane cannot/will not land at all, the tour is canceled and a minimum late cancellation fee of 20% of the total rate is charged. [80% refund on total tour cost is given] A full refund, relative to retrievable tour costs, will be considered on merit by VOMBA TOURS Management, in the event of illness/hospitalization/accident or death, upon receipt of proof. No refunds will be given for no-shows, or any unused services irrespective of whether they form part of the basic tour price, or whether they are in respect of pre-booked optional arrangements.
