If you are looking to scale the heights of adventure, look no further than White Shark Parasailing - one of Mossel Bay Boat Adventures’ most popular activities. Experience the exhilaration of breathtaking views from this high vantage point! Look down over the Garden Route’s iconic coastline from Mossel Bay Harbor to Hartenbos, with the famed Outeniqua Mountain Range as a backdrop, from a privileged view above the Indian Ocean during this parasailing adventure. Our Tour starts at our Booking office, on Quay 4, at the Mossel Bay Harbor Waterfront. Upon arrival, we’ll quickly process you and escort you to the pier. Once you have boarded Senorita, you will be issued with a life jacket and fitted with a harness. You will then be given a full safety briefing by one of our professional skippers. Senorita is specifically designed for the job, meaning safe and dry take-off from and landing back on the boat rather than the water or beach. After the boat reaches the fly zone, it will be time to make your way to the platform at the rear to get ready for your flight. One of our experienced deckhands will clip you into the parasail. As soon as everything’s in place you will slowly be released, and before you know it you’ll be soaring up to 300 meter high above the ocean, safely under your canopy. It’s quite a paradox! Exhilarating yet tranquil! An adrenaline rush yet peaceful! With a 360 degree Birdseye view of the world below you and the occasional soft rustle of the wind whooshing over the chute….You experience a new sense of freedom, of practically floating on air! Plenty to see in the water as well and a very good chance of spotting the infamous Great White Shark for which the bay is famous. You can be on the boat for up to an hour and a half, depending on how many people are parasailing and in the air for approx 8/10 min. Min age 7 for solo and 4 with parent.
